A government bill amending the Polish Labor Code and certain other acts was submitted to the Sejm. The draft includes proposals for solving issues related to remote work and the long-awaited by employers regulation of employee sobriety testing. The sobriety test procedure is to be expanded and provide for the possibility of preventive sobriety testing of employees. The full scope of the proposed changes is available on the Sejm website:

The works on the project are at the initial stage and it is not known what their final shape will look like. However, it is worth following the legislative process in order to be up to date with the introduced changes that are so important to the clients of our PRWT accounting office.
